Day 3: London

Friday was a jam-packed day.  We started off by taking a walk around the front of Buckingham Palace. On our way from the bus stop we saw the Royal Artillery Band practicing for Trooping of the Colour later in June.

A couple of hungry kids grabbed a snack before our first tour of the day. Waffles with nutella - easy choice for this one.

We visited the Royal Mews. This is where they house the carriages for the royal family.  It is also a working stable.

If there is a hat to be put on, Macy will put it on.  She decided to go for the entire outfit this time.

At Picadilly Circus Brooke opted for a bubble waffle. Unfortunately she wasn't a huge fan of the fact that it was a sourdough waffle.

There were street performers here and there throughout the city.  This young lady set up her speakers and started singing praise songs.  It was so refreshing to listen to her, so I sat and enjoyed her for a little while.

Trafalgar Square was busy with preparing for a bike race the next day. We watched the stunt bikers for a bit, and Macy of course enjoyed the water at the fountain.

Our final stop for the day was Covent Gardens. It was a unique shopping and dining area.

So many steps were taken each day, but it was worth it to experience some of what London has to offer.
