Day 10: H2O'Brien Pool

We didn't have any plans for Friday. It was our last day in Colorado and we wanted to take it easy and spend more time with family. My aunt suggested taking the girls to this pool at a nearby park. We stopped by the grocery store on our way to pack a picnic lunch and then spend a few hours letting the girls do one of their favorite things.  It was a good way to end our vacation.

We had a wonderful dinner out with everybody, and even got to share in some exciting news of the birth of a new granddaughter while we were in town.  We had such a wonderful vacation and made so many special memories, but it was nice to come home and quit living out of suitcases. Our journey home was over 12 hours between delayed flights, a short layover, and weather in Atlanta that shut the airport down and diverted us to Huntsville for a couple of hours.  But if crazy airplane travel days were the worst part of our trip, I'll take it.
