Wednesday morning we headed into Acadia National Park. I love how the National Parks are all so different. We tried to get tickets to the top of Cadillac Mountain for sunrise, but those tickets were sold out within 2 minutes of them going on sale. We ended up just taking a mid-morning time slot, and it was beautiful.
Bar Harbor at the base of the mountain.
We enjoyed some time sitting and admiring the view. We also brought a picnic lunch to the top with us.
The girls really enjoyed the tide pools. It was a bit of a hike to get there, but it was worth it.
We ended the day at Beal's Seafood for some lobster. Last time we were in Maine a lobster roll was about $10. They have since tripled in price, but Marc and I decided to split a large one here. It was so incredibly good. It was a great way to wrap up our day.
