Marc and I celebrated 19 years of marriage this year. We grabbed dinner at a new, local restaurant. Simple celebrations this year.
I have to be intentional these days to have activities available to the girls so that they don't navigate towards their electronics.
This girls is spoiled rotten. Someone, if not all of us, has been home everyday for a couple of months. She rarely gets locked up in her room. She gets a regular walk with the family, and lazes around on pillows, blankets, or laps most of the day. She's clearly living her best life.
The basement project has continued. Marc finished off the electrical and HVAC. We hired out for the drywall installation, and the girls have been excited to help us get the walls painted. This half of the basement is moving along much faster than I expected.
We laid the flooring ourselves too. The girls worked hard to help us get this done.
Enjoying this beautiful weather on the swings.
Thankfully we've found a few outdoor activities that have been open to combat summer bordem.
This guy has caused us (especially Marc) some distress. He has shown up a couple of times, and that's a couple of times too many.
He has now found his final resting place inside of a brick retaining wall.
You know quarantine and semi-isolation is getting to you when you create a game based on the pandemic and quarantine life.
This has been a project filled season of life. Marc extended the deck so that he can roll his grill out from underneath the porch covering. Riley thinks this was actually built for her.
Of course we had a hail storm. It's 2020.
The basement is finally finished and the girls have enjoyed turning this into the dance studio for Zoom classes.
The girls finally had another clogging performance! They performed outdoors for a daycare center. This was Brooke's first performance, and it was so much fun to see all three girls out there together.
