Because Kayla only has afternoon classes, she doesn't eat lunch at school. Instead of missing her last Thanksgiving Lunch, she joined us down at the lower building.
Macy had her wisdom teeth removed this week. She did really well with it.
To add in a little more to our break, this one ended up with strep and the flu.
She was feeling better enough on Thanksgiving to "join" us for lunch. The weather was warm enough that we set her up on the porch and opened the window between us.
It was a different kind of Thanksgiving week, but I had my people surrounding me, so all is well.
