These two sweet friends have been clogging together for many years.

They also won the raffle for the summer basket! It was full of all sorts of fun things!

Driver #2!

No, it doesn't get easier the second time around. She's not a fan of driving, but she's doing great.

Family Staycation

Marc's family came in town for a few days, and everyone stayed at our house.  We missed having Tanya, Drew, Madison, and Clay though. The girls had fun with their cousins.

Happy 15th Birthday, Macy!

We celebrated Macy with her friends. She requested pool and tacos.

She tried to blow out her candles with her mustache on, but she couldn't do it.

She was so nervous to take her learner's permit test, but she did awesome, and now we have a new driver! So far she's not a fan of driving, but she's doing great.

These two had fun relaxing on their new floats.

Macy,

It has been such a joy to watch you grow and mature during your first year of high school.  You have made some amazing friends and you worked hard in all of your classes. You are a thinker and a planner, yet only on your own terms. You have a sensitive heart, yet you can laugh and joke with your family. You are hilarious and witty. Your favorite place to be is curled up in your room - your safe place.  While you love being with your people, there is only so much noise and action your introverted self can enjoy. I look forward to what this next year holds for you, and I pray that you would continue to lean into Jesus in your journey.

Love forever and always,
Mama
