Family Pictures

It has been a while since we had family pictures made, so when Shelbi (who used to baby sit the girls) was offering mini-sessions we jumped on board.  The pictures turned out so great, and I'm glad we were able to get them done this fall.

Thanksgiving

I managed to get very few pictures of our Thanksgiving.  My sister, Jackie, wanted to host Thanksgiving this year, so we had Marc's parents over for Thanksgiving breakfast.  Brooke took on the job of rolling sausage balls again this year.

She is so spoiled. Not by me, but by just about everyone else in the family.

Decorating the Tree - Somewhat Begrudgingly

Two of my girls have this issue with decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving.  I get it.  I used to be that way to up until a few years ago.  I still can't decorate super early, but I've learned that I like to enjoy the decorations longer than 4 weeks.

We bought a new game - Pandemic.  How ironic. It is actually super fun, and we've been playing it a lot recently.  You work together as a team to try and beat the diseases, and we are quickly learning how to communicate well with 4 different sets of ideas on how to accomplish that mission.

College Visit - Berry College

I think the visit to Berry was one of Kayla's favorites.  I was impressed by their tour as well.  We unexpectedly signed up for the tour on the same day as an out of state friend, so it was great to catch up with Johnsons as we navigate the world of colleges.

College Visit - Reinhardt

Kayla and Marc took a quick campus tour of Reinhard University. It was just an hour long tour of campus.  Kayla said the campus was lovely, but she didn't get much information about the university itself.

Mars Hill University - Clogging Competition

The last competition of 2021 was at Mars Hill University. It was a smaller competition, but we had a great time as always.

This competition marked Ryan's (owner/director) last competition.  It was such fun to watch him and his family on stage doing what they do best.

ACTS - All Together Now

Brooke joined the ACTS drama club at school this year.  They had an evening fundraiser performing "All Together Now." The junior cast sang a couple of songs, and Brooke loved getting dressed up.

Homecoming 2021

It was a cold, drizzly night for homecoming, but the girls had the best time getting dressed up and going out with their friends.
