Sweet Macy. I don't even know where to begin. Tomorrow morning you will be seven. That is crazy to me. I can remember exactly how I felt 7 years ago as I waited for you to be born. It was a bit of a scary delivery with your heart rate dropping, but you were perfect.
You are such a sweet, caring little girl. You love to snuggle and you have made it quite the habit to come into our room in the middle of the night. You no longer come to our bed because you know I will take you back to your bed. Instead you crawl up in the recliner and daddy moves you to the bed when he gets up. I wish we had a bigger bed to snuggle in together. You are your sisters are getting too big!
You still sleep with rabbit most every night. He is looking a little worn, but he is well loved.
You love playing outside and finding all sorts of treasures out there. In fact, last week I was putting the winter coats away and when I picked up yours it was heavy. Turns out you had filled a pocket with rocks. You love to get out and explore.
This year you chose to take a break from dance and try out a gymnastics/tumbling class. It hasn't been your favorite thing, but I'm so proud of you for sticking with it. Next year it's back to tap and jazz for you.
We just wrapped up your 1st grade year. You have had such a wonderful year and are reading and writing so well. Your daddy and I are so proud of how hard you have worked and all the things you have learned. I know 2nd grade will be awesome for you too!
You never fail to make your daddy and me laugh. The things that you do and say are so precious and fill our lives with so much joy. This picture of you during one of our many snow days this year completely sums up your fun-loving personality.
Some of your favorites:
subject: art and math
game: Life and Minecraft
color: green
food: chick-fil-a, macaroni and cheese
drink: grape fanta

Macy,
I am so incredibly proud of you and proud to call you my daughter. I am beyond blessed that God chose to let us raise you. You are beautiful, kind, caring, silly, and smart. All that wrapped up into a one little package. Thank you for being my gal.
Love,
Mommy
