What a weekend! This competition was amazing. The teams were incredible and powerful, and the kids came to show the clogging world what their teams are made of. 204 routines were put on stage for the amateur competition.

The competition was so strong, but PowerTaps Senior came away with Amateur Senior Team Traditional National Champions and Amateur Senior Team Contemporary National Champions! Both awards were well deserved, but I think they were more shocked at taking Contemporary National Champion. The team tends to be stronger in their traditional dances, but they left it all on the stage and beat out 7 of the best contemporary routines in the dance-off. What an unbelievable accomplishment for these kids!
Brooke competed her solos and her duo as well. Their duo took home 2nd place in their category!
It's always a long competition. The kids are worn out by the time the weekend is over, but the memories created here will last a lifetime.
